This is Fantasy 2024! The NFL season is going to be electric this year with many star players returning and an amazing rookie class.
With many great players to choose from, here are the top players to pick early. Christian McCaffery, without a doubt, is the safest pick in the draft. Coming off an amazing season with the 49ers (the runner ups in the Super Bowl), Christian McCaffery rushed for 1,459 yards (league leader) and 14 touchdowns. He’s the safest player to pick because he had a high percentage of at least one touchdown per game along with getting many carries and yards per carry.
Breece Hall is going to be great! Only playing five games last year due to injury, he picked up a total of 994 all purpose yards and five touchdowns. Hall is an elite dual-threat running back with playing making abilities. He has lots of potential for a breakout season this year and expectations are set high.
The best fantasy football receiver coming into 2024 is Tyreek Hill from the Miami Dolphins. Last year he pulled in 119 receptions along with 13 touchdowns (league leader) and a total of 1,799 yards (league leader). Hill is an unbelievable play maker because of his catching ability and his speed. Hill is the fastest players in the NFL, and Head Coach Mike McDaniel knows exactly how to draw up plays for this freak of an athlete.
Next up is wide receiver CeeDee Lamb for the Dallas Cowboys! Lamb hauled in an impressive 135 receptions (league leader) last season, making him a reliable and consistent target for Cowboys Quarterback Dak Prescott. Lamb also was second in the NFL just behind Tyreek Hill in receiving yards, pulling in 1,749 yards and 12 touchdowns as well. Lamb also just signed a massive contract this past month for a four year extension of 136 million dollars, so that’s a good sign he will be getting the ball!
Another player on people’s radar this year is running back for the Atlanta Falcons, Bijan Robinson. Robinson is an athletic and elusive running back that always finds a way to make plays. He was a rookie last year coming out of Texas. During his rookie season he had an impressive stat line: 1,463 total yards, eight touchdowns, 214 carries, and 58 receptions. The Falcons are bringing in a new head coach, Raheem Morris, and offensive coordinator Zac Robinson, giving the Falcons a fresh start and start a new era.
The NFL has so many stars, but these guys are at the top in terms of fantasy. If you want a good team make sure you check out “Fantasy pros” (and SHS Class of 2012 graduate Andrew Erickson!). Enjoy the season!
