Volleyball: Sutton lost 3-0 in Upton to the now 13-4 Blackstone Valley Reg Voc/Tech High School Beavers. The Suzies got pushed down to 4-13. Mckenzie Elliott (2 kills, 3 blocks, 15 digs), and Meghan Levins (4 kills, 9 digs) played well for the Suzies. JV is now 6-4 with a 2-0 loss.
Girls Soccer: The girls steam-rolled the 4-10 Millbury Woolies on Senior day at home, 6-0. Annika Stockhaus had 2 goals, bringing Sutton up to a 14-2 record heading into the Central Mass tournament.
Field Hockey: The girls had yet another dominant 8-0 win over Blackstone-Millville Regional High School. A shutout game by goalie Allison Hastings gave the Suzies a boost of confidence as they head into their final game 15-0. The JV won 4-1.
Boys Soccer: The Sammies defeated Wachusett in Holden on Friday 1-0 to improve to 13-3. Senior Captain Reeg Kassatly and the lockdown defense lead the way as the team gets ready for the Central Mass tournament. JV also won 1-0 and are 5-5-1.
Football: Sutton-Douglas was defeated on Saturday at home on Senior day by Saint Bernard’s High School. The offense and defense struggled, as the Sammies let up 34 points in 3 quarters. The 34-8 loss was called short during the 3rd quarter due to an injury. Sutton-Douglas looks for a much-needed win next week against Nipmuc.
