Field Hockey: Congratulations to the Suzies for becoming this year’s Central Mass Tournament Champions! Sutton(18-0) keeps their undefeated season intact with a 2-0 win against Hopedale Jr/Sr High School. Claire Acocelli scored both goals, and the defense was dominant. Now onto the State Tournament!
Boys’ Soccer: The Sammies keep rolling past opponents, defeating Keefe Technical High School (13 – 3 – 1) at home 5-0. Sean Vinutti and Kyle Kolafsky each had two goals in the home win. Sutton improves to 15-3 on the year and moves on to the Central Mass Tournament Final on Tuesday. They will face Hopedale at 7 p.m. in Millbury.
Football: Sutton-Douglas lost its 5th straight on the season to Nipmuc Regional High School in Upton. The 49-6 loss to the Warriors sets the Sammies at a 1-6 record. They take on North High School next Saturday and look to end the regular season with a win.
