Yesterday, the Suzies played Saint John Paul II in a Sweet 16 game of the state tournament.
The Suzies won 1-0 thanks to a goal from senior, Kat Quill.
The team played strong defense and worked together to not let a single goal in. This was another shutout for goalkeeper, Allision Hastings.
The next game will be on Sunday, November 7. The girls will either play Saint Paul Diocesan or Lynnfield. This will be for the Elite 8 game.
Both soccer teams are in action in Millbury this evening. The Suzies play Easthampton at 5 p.m. and the Sammies play Douglas at 7 p.m.
