Boys Soccer: Matty Mulderic sealed the deal for the Sammies in a close 1-0 victory against DVC rival Douglas Tigers. The single goal of the game was on a penalty kick in the first half. The boys played great defense and possessed the ball for the majority of the game. Sutton now awaits the winners of other tournament games and prepares for the Round of 16.
Girls Soccer: Another dominant 5-0 in the State tournament against Easthampton High School moves the Suzies onto the Round of 16. Sutton Captain Ava Magnuson scored 2 goals and was awarded Player of the Game. The Girls take on Bellingham High School in a busy day for Sutton sports.
Tonight: The volleyball team goes to Millis for a playoff game. Start time is 5 p.m.
Sunday: Three games are on the schedule. The boys soccer team plays @ 11 a.m., the girls soccer team plays @ 1 p.m., and the field hockey team plays at 3 p.m. All games are at Northbridge Middle School.
