On Friday…
Boys Basketball: The varsity lost to Nipmuc in a tough game, 31-66, at Nipmuc’s court. Though, there was a l0t of support from the sammies fans. This put the Sammies on a 3-3 season so far.
The JV also lost to Nipmuc 44-32.
Girls Basketball: The varsity played on home court vs Nimpuc for a 43-21 win. This marks the as 4-2 to continue the season. The crowd packed the stands, having the support from the cheerleaders and pep band. Claire Acocelli had some amazing 3’s in the second and third quarters. The team showed off some great defense, very cohesive movement in the zone, and boxing out in the paint.
Girls Aurbun Hockey: The varsity won 4-0 over Boston Latin in a blowout.
Boys Northbridge Hockey: The varsity lost in 9-1 against Gardener.
On Saturday…
Boys Northbridge Westling: Alexavier Majorowski had 13 matches total in the 144 weight class and won 8.
