Welcome to the 2024-2025 school year at Sutton High School. We trust you had a wonderful summer and are ready for all that a school year brings.
Last year, many of our students experienced success in multiple areas. The Suzies won their third straight state title, some of our track stars competed in Oregon State, and across the DVC the Green and White once again had great success.
In the arts, the band and choirs offered excellent Christmas and Spring concerts, the drama club present A Christmas Carol: a musical, and the art work at our annual show was well received.
In the classroom, students earned high scores on AP exams, and several scored high enough on the MCAS to earn college scholarships. Several seniors earned excellent scholarships due to their high grades.
Finally, the Class of 2024 graduated and headed off to life beyond SHS.
This year, we look forward to continued athletic success, quality arts, excellent academics, and a great year for the Class of 2025. Additionally, the school will continue to implement a positive reduction in screen time, look to introduce new opportunities for students, and will have teachers stepping into new roles. We will report more on that soon.
