In mid-July of this summer Sutton’s facilities manager, David Richard, began the improvement of Sutton Elementary’s landscaping.
Mr. Richard had noticed that the landscaping had been slowly going downhill for a while, so he began to work on it.
Elementary teacher Jen Haroian, along with other members of Lifesong Church, located in Sutton, offered to help him with the project as an act of service for their community. He gratefully accepted the offer.
Together, the group worked on bringing over, and setting down, mulch in the beds at the entrance of the elementary school. This was much needed and made the grounds look neater and more put-together.
Working with the church group made Mr. Richard’s project a whole lot easier to manage.
Thank you to Jen Haroin and Lifesong Church for the work they put in and the acts of kindness they showed.
