Something I think is concerts shouldn’t have curfews because concerts are meant to be loud, energetic, and for certain music artists it can be a big issue to go over said curfew and it can lead to a major loss of money. Fans might not be happy with you even if you can’t control it.
For example when I went to the Metallica concert in August, they went past the curfew the second night because the start was delayed by an hour. If they weren’t as big of a band they might have had to end early and the fans would’ve been upset.

I especially think that at concerts for rock and rap that act “rebellious”, they shouldn’t have a curfew. Concerts are also very expensive now with the cheapest tickets for a big name being at least $100 and you are practically outside of the stadium/venue. So you should get the full time, not just some of it because most people are spending even more on food and drinks at the concert/venue so I think that you should get more for your money’s worth and not have to end the show early.
I also think that the whole idea of a curfew is strange because why do we have to be told when to stop and leave? Some people consider curfews a violation of First Amendment rights of freedom of assembly and expression.

Curfews can be a big problem for the band or artist because if they go over the curfew they have to pay a lot of money in fines. In 2016 Bruce Springsteen went over his 11:30 p.m. curfew by 25 minutes and had to pay $22,000 in fines. Now, I can understand if the concert is in a very residential area or a city but this event was at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough. I can understand why curfews were made, for big concerts in cities/very urban areas, because the noise can bother people, but the majority of venues aren’t directly next to any houses.
I also think that if we keep curfews, they should be adjusted because the amount of money in fines you have to pay if you go over the limit is too severe. Also, if the venue location is outdoors than weather can impact the concert which would take more time away from everyone.

Simply said, leave the artists alone and let the fans enjoy what they paid to see.
