Are you interested in participating in a club? Join CSL (Community Service Learning), a fun and helpful way to raise money for the school. They do events like car washes, face painting, planting tulips, baking, movie nights and drive ins.

CSL is an enjoyable club if you want to be more involved in the community. Not only will you be having the time of your life with friends but you will be doing something beneficial for the school.

What they do at CSL includes doing community service time, participating in activities to raise money and help out the school, and putting up posters to help advertise things. This year they are advertising and participating in a student run car wash, for homecoming, to raise money and they also have many other ideas for Halloween and Christmas events.

Other activities that this club has done, or is thinking of doing, includes helping out at the senior center joining in events such as the Chain of Lights. Joining this club will show students how to get involved and why it is important to participate in the community.

Recently the CSL held a carwash to raise money for their activities. Despite the less than warm weather, they participated with enthusiasm! (Christina Gamble)

What exactly is beneficial about CSL? It helps students gain a deeper understanding of how important it is to help the community and it teaches them to give back. Students who participate in CSL are more engaged in their community and are more social.

CSL gives students more opportunities to work in a team and gain experience for when they get a job in the real world. Having experience is important, so being in CSL is an excellent opportunity. Spread the word, and join Community Service Learning yourself! Do not be afraid to get out of your comfort zone because you are nervous about others, it might end up being one of your favorite clubs yet!

If you are interested in joining, CSL meetings are held during advisory, in room 220 with Mrs.Gamble.

Hi! I'm a sophomore and this is my first year at Sutton High School. On my free time I like to hang out with friends and family. I also enjoy traveling with my family and visiting new places. My favorite place I've traveled to would have to be Greece. I love listening to music and going to concerts. My favorite type of music would either be R&B and Reggaetón. But about a year ago I started listening to country music and I love it. My favorite country singer would have to be Jason Aldean.

Hi there I am Alexis and I'm a freshman. I am a competitive dancer, and that takes up most of my free time, but when I do have a break I enjoy drawing and just trying different art projects that I find interesting. My least favorite subject is math, and I have two younger brothers.
