In my own definition, I believe classic fashion is clothing that is traditional, timeless, and has remained fashionable for a long time rather than dying out like fleeting trends tend to do.
Some looks that appear as classic fashion to me include a classic white button-up shirt and straight leg jeans. This outfit can be worn alone or with a long brown coat on top. For shoes, I see black skinny heels or black flats to offset the lighter colors of the outfit so far.
Some more clothing staples that emerge to be classic are black leather jackets. Leather jackets have always been around and seen as tough and rugged looks that any stylish person can pull off well. These jackets are durable and long-lasting which causes them to be able to go with just about anything due to their single color and timeless look.
Classic shoes, to me, include a women’s tall brown boot, and for men, a short black dress shoe. The brown tall boots can go with just about anything. They are very fall and winter core but can be worn year round and just styled with dresses compared to jeans which would be more seen around the winter.
Black dress shoes, when I think about these shoes, I think about vintage looks that where worn back in the day, these looks would include white undershirt with a black vest and black slacks, or just a suit and top it of with the classic black dress shoes.
When talking about classic bags, the only bags that really fill my head happen to be designer bags. I see Birkins, Chanel, Coach, Louis Vuitton, and Gucci. These bags are only scrapping the surface of what I believe classic bags are to be.
Some classic bags include Chanel’s Large Classic Handbag, The look of this bag just appears classic to me. The plain color, the chain, the designer symbol. Classic.
Another bag that fits my view is a little more colorful. The Ophidia medium tote bag by Gucci is a classic handbag style that just gives old money and classic style. The Gucci pattern has been around for a long time and just gives off that classic rich look that these outfits need.
If you’re looking to appear classic while wearing a dress, a white long or black short dress can shape to be the most classic options when it comes to more dressy looks. Both of these options can be worn forever and just look sleek and very well put together. As well as both these options can be dressed up and more business or dressed down and be more casual.
These are just somethings that stick out to me as classic fashion looks. Wearing classic clothing makes you look very sleek and put together.
