Many people post to their social media platforms, some for fun and some because they want to get big or earn money. Many people partner with brands and get paid by these brands for flaunting these articles of clothing or skin care products, it could be anything.
Some YouTubers or TikTokers have actually made it big and get paid large amounts of money for simply posting themselves doing just about anything, so how does this work?
For example: how do you get paid by posting on TikTok? Many people that post on here do it for fun; in all reality, you’re probably not going to get paid, but there is something called, The Creator Rewards Program. You have to sign up for this program and there are requirements you must examine.
Some of the requirements include having a video or many over one minute, 10,000+ followers, and 100,000+ views in the last 30 days. TikTok also has a Creator Rewards Program and this program is pretty much the same but a Creator is more someone who posts often and is affiliated with many brands and brand deals.
Getting paid on Instagram is slightly different. Instagram is less about posting videos and is an app to post photos and updates where TikTok isn’t. Instagram is more a website where you get paid strictly by brand partnerships and sponsored posts. Instagram doesn’t pay you directly for views or followers.
Lastly, let’s talk about YouTube. YouTubers get paid by joining the YouTube Partner Program (YPP). This requires 1,000 subscribers and 4,000 public watch hours or 10M shorts views in 90 days. Once approved earnings vary greatly, $0.01-$0.03 per view or $10-$30 per 1,000 views. This can be significantly higher or lower depending on many things: your niche, your audience, your sponsors, and many additional factors.
Getting paid by posting on these websites isn’t impossible, but it is hard. I think everyone should just post for fun and not stress out about trying to go viral on the internet. If you do go viral and make bank that’s amazing, too.
